• AWS-4000
  • Intellect compatible portable torque tester

The AWS-4000 is a versatile data collection system that allows the user to track multiple tools and their associated torque readings. Using the Tool Manager software, the user can create tool files that are downloaded to the AWS-4000. User "launches" a file, displays and stores the torque test data. After testing is completed, the file and data can be uploaded back to the PC.

AWS Intellect technology allows "plug and play" with AWS transducers. Users are not required to "set up" the transducer. This provides independent calibration and interchangeability with AWS Intellect transducers.

Up to 500 files, 64 groups, 8000 total readings may be stored in the unit at one time. A maximum of 1000 readings may be stored for one serial number. LEDs on front panel indicate pass/fail readings.

As each reading is entered into memory it will also be sent out the serial port along with a date/ time stamp. A failure indicator will follow any readings that are outside of the given limits.

The AWS-4000 can be used as a data collector to store data in files or as an analyzer with sequential memory FIFO without attaching data to tool files.
